i dont think a lot of you would experience this! It was back 2004, after my final year of Medical School, i followed Australian red cross in the war zone down Sudan, this talk was aturally done on a refugee campus, helping them in a medical way! It was an experience that i would never forget! I had never been to a war zone ever in my life, i know its going to be a brand new thing.

She is my own grandmother! I know she will never log onto the web! She lost her vision 3 years ago.
It was back July 2006, I went to Moscow for my cousin Alexander's wedding and drop by St Petersburg to visit my grandma Olga, my Cousin Sergiy was with me too.
"Nana, what's up?"
"Been watching Wimbledon, My grandson Marat stopped at 2rd round''. (she always call Marat her grandson as if he is part of our family, when she is talking about watch, she meant listening the taped records from TV that my uncle Peter has made, she never missed a match, not even on of Marat's match, seriously she cant see the light, but she doesnt WATCH them from her heart)
''Why you like him?Its young kids' fashion'' Sergiy insisted.
''Serg, I am not old ok? I am just cheering for my grandson, like you!"
''oh yeah, he is good looking!" Serg teased ....
"well, yes! He is the 2nd best looking man on earth''
''who is the best?''.......I asked
''of course your grandpa Boris.....But I love Safin better, he is my kids.'' Grandma olga explained.
''Nana, i love him, cuz he is a hot man, what is your opinion?''
''well..... How the world know more about us Russian? How Moscow could host an Olympic later on? we need some famous people to repersent the country, Safin will be the perfect one!''
''woo,...Nana!@That;s right" Serg continutes
'' I know i am not young, i am blind but i would still give my life ago! I wont give up anything as long as Safin still plays tennis! I am not ready to go to heaven, i 'd still want my grandson playing and cheer for him"
''Did you say Marat saves your life? I am a doctor lol....." I joked.
'' in a way he is! He gives me hope to keep myself alive! He played almost the longest and most amazing match at AO 05, why cant I use my whole life to support him?'' Grandma olga insists.
"Nana, that's a pretty cool idea'' Serg said as he is feeding Nana some apple.
"well, its my fashion! I dont dye my hair purple, cuz u wont have it next season'' My grandma is so cute.... and she jokes a lot to us.

Its true! Marat's experience told me that '' Nothing is impossible, magical depends on how hard you work and never give up''!
I am kind of touched my grandma Olga's words! It is just simply a grandmother, who lost her vison, a true love from her, 86 years old Russian lady, a pure love to a grandson.It is normal everyday life, but she always love to include Marat into our big family, she makes us think Marat is part of us! I feel like the boy next door is inspiring you!
To keep going and never give up!

Hi everyone...... I have to say it i am not a journalist or anything like a writer or what so ever! I am acturally a typical science person, they call me '' Bloody medical Science chick"..... I dont know how to write for nothing..... But I do like to share something with my own heart!
For people who dont know me.I am Helen, working in Medical Science by profession, aim to discovery and curl Lukemia (blood cancer) and working on it! Running clinical trials and molecular medicine diagnostic, involved heaps of travelling!----On the road, I met lots of interesting people and a lot of them are like us---Marat Safin's fans! From puppy like babies to grandparents! Some of them (most in this writing) may not be able to log into this website due to various reason! But i think they deserve just as much as we do, cuz their love to Marat is the same as us!
I would love to share their stories to you all! Marat has more fanssssssssssssssssssssssssssss than we acturally think and see.
